From 27.10. until 4.11. The IOM Class World Sailing Championship will be held in Rogoznica.
The regatta was supposed to take place a year and a half earlier, but due to the Covid situation in the world, it was postponed.
The previous World Cup was organized in Brazil in 2019 in the city of Porto Allegre. On it, Croatian sailor Zvonko Jelačić won his third title of world champion, so he has the possibility of setting a kind of record because no sailor in this class has managed to win the title of the best in the world four times!
The organizers of the regatta are members of the Val Sailing Club from Šibenik, and together with Marina Frapa, they are supported in the organization by the local community, led by the municipality of Rogoznica and the local TZ, and the County of Šibenik Kninska.
76 best sailors from 24 countries and five continents will sail at the regatta!
